Lindsey Hancock Williamson grew up in Nashville and attended film school there. She produced Film and TV for six years in New York, including shows like Project Runway and Inkmaster. She owns a production company, Suburban Tallyho, with husband and Lexington native Sam. Since returning to Lexington, they have produced
documentary features, digital programming, and narrative
features. One such feature, American Animals, premiered at Sundance Film Festival in 2018 and will be released nationwide this summer. Additionally, she wrote and directed a short film for Lionsgate, Turncoats, as part of Stephenie Meyer's Twilight: Storytellers project. Shot entirely in the Bluegrass, the film premiered along with other women directed shorts, and the film series was shortlisted for a Cannes Lions Award for Excellence in Branded Content & Visual Storytelling. Her crowning achievements are her two adorable sons, McClain (4) and Edger (2).
